How does this combo work?

3 | When Derevi enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping the creature targeted in step 1. |
4 | Resolve Retraction Helix. |
5 | Cast the permanent from your hand by paying . |
6 | Displacer Kitten triggers, blinking Derevi. |
7 | When Derevi enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping the creature targeted by Retraction Helix. |
8 | Resolve the permanent spell. |
9 | Activate the creature targeted by Retraction Helix by tapping it, returning the permanent cast in step 5 from the battlefield to your hand. |
