Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Ghave's second ability by paying and sacrificing Geralf's Messenger.
- 2Geralf's Messenger's undying ability triggers, returning Geralf's Messenger from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it.
- 3Geralf's Messenger enters the battlefield tapped, causing an opponent to lose 2 life.
- 4Resolve the Ghave ability, putting a +1/+1 counter on Cryptic Trilobite.
- 5Activate Cryptic Trilobite by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding
that can only be spent to activate abilities. - 6Activate Ghave's first ability by paying and removing a +1/+1 counter from Geralf's Messenger, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
- 7Repeat.
