Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Cloud of Faeries.
- 2Sigil of the New Dawn and Deathrender trigger.
- 3Resolve Sigil of the New Dawn's trigger, paying to return Cloud of Faeries from your graveyard to your hand.
- 4Resolve Deathrender's trigger, putting Cloud of Faeries from your hand onto the battlefield and attaching Deathrender to it.
- 5Cloud of Faeries enters the battlefield, triggering itself, untapping two lands you control that can produce.
- 6Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 1, causing target player to mill three cards.
- 7Repeat.
