- Karmic Guide in exile (Karmic Guide exiled by Abdel Adrian in exile).
- Sakashima's Student in hand.
- You have enough mana to cast Sakashima's Student.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Cast Sakashima's Student by paying its mana cost, choosing to have it enter the battlefield as a copy of Abdel Adrian.
- 2Put the original Abdel Adrian into your graveyard due to the legend rule, causing Karmic Guide to return to the battlefield from exile.
- 3Karmic Guide and Sakashima's Student's abilities trigger.
- 4Resolve the Sakashima's Student ability, choosing to exile Karmic Guide until Sakashima's Student leaves the battlefield and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
- 5Resolve the Karmic Guide trigger, returning Abdel Adrian from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- 6Put Sakashima's Student into your graveyard due to the legend rule, causing Karmic Guide to return to the battlefield from exile.
- 7Karmic Guide and Abdel Adrian's abilities trigger.
- 8Resolve the Abdel Adrian ability, exiling Karmic Guide until Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
- 9Resolve the Karmic Guide trigger, returning Sakashima's Student from your graveyard to the battlefield as a copy of Abdel Adrian.
