Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Cast Abdel Adrian either from your hand or from the command zone by paying
plus commander tax, if applicable. - 2Abdel Adrian enters the battlefield, triggering itself and Cadric.
- 3Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, choosing not to exile anything.
- 4Resolve the Cadric trigger, causing you to pay
to create a token copy of Abdel Adrian with haste. - 5The Abdel Adrian token enters the battlefield, exiling the nontoken Abdel Adrian until the token Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
- 6Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the token Abdel Adrian, adding.
- 7The token Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, causing the nontoken Abdel Adrian to return to the battlefield from exile.
- 8Repeat from step 2.
