What do I need to start this combo?
- Gray Merchant of Asphodel in your graveyard.
- All other permanents on the battlefield (Liliana with at least three loyalty counters on it on the battlefield).
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Liliana's third loyalty ability by removing three loyalty counters from it, allowing you to cast Zombie spells from your graveyard this turn.
- 2Cast Gray Merchant from your graveyard by paying
due to Rooftop Storm. - 3When Gray Merchant enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing each opponent to lose life equal to your devotion to black and causing you to gain that much life.
- 4Activate Warren Soultrader by paying 1 life and sacrificing Gray Merchant, creating a Treasure token.
- 5Repeat from step 2.
