Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Relic of Legends's last ability by tapping Grimgrin, adding one mana.
- 2Activate Grimgrin by sacrificing Greedy Freebooter, untapping Grimgrin and putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
- 3When Greedy Freebooter dies, it triggers, causing you to scry 1 and create a Treasure token.
- 4Activate the Treasure token by tapping and sacrificing it, adding one mana.
- 5Activate Havengul Lich by paying
, allowing you to cast Greedy Freebooter from your graveyard this turn. - 6Cast Greedy Freebooter from your graveyard by paying its casting cost.
