What do I need to start this combo?
- Abdel Adrian on the battlefield.
- Icewind Stalwart in exile.
- Hostage Taker in hand.
- Icewind Stalwart exiled by Abdel Adrian. You have enough mana to cast Hostage Taker.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Cast Hostage Taker by paying its mana cost.
- 2When Hostage Taker enters the battlefield, it triggers, exiling Abdel Adrian until Hostage Taker leaves the battlefield.
- 3Abdel Adrian leaves the battlefield, causing Icewind Stalwart to return to the battlefield from exile.
- 4When Icewind Stalwart enters the battlefield, it triggers, blinking Hostage Taker.
- 5Hostage Taker leaves and enters the battlefield, causing Abdel Adrian to return to the battlefield from exile and triggering Abdel Adrian and Hostage Taker.
- 6Resolve the Abdel Adrian trigger, exiling Icewind Stalwart and creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
- 7Resolve the Hostage Taker trigger, exiling Abdel Adrian until Hostage Taker leaves the battlefield.
- 8Repeat from step 3.
