What do I need to start this combo?
- All permanents on the battlefield.
- Woodfall Primus does not have a -1/-1 counter on it.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Woodfall Primus, adding
. - 2When Woodfall Primus dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it to the battlefield from your graveyard with a -1/-1 counter on it.
- 3Whe Woodfall Primus enters the battlefield, it triggers, targeting any noncreature permanent.
- 4Holding priority, activate Quillspike by paying and removing the -1/-1 counter from Woodfall Primus, giving Quillspike +3/+3 until end of turn.
- 5Repeat.
- 6You may also repeat this loop as desired during future turns to destroy any number of noncreature permanents.
