What do I need to start this combo?
- All permanents on the battlefield.
- Aerie Ouphes does not have a -1/-1 counter on it. There is a creature with flying on the battlefield.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Aerie Ouphes by sacrificing it, targeting any creature with flying.
- 2When Aerie Ouphes dies, its persist ability and Pitiless Plunderer trigger.
- 3Resolve the Aerie Ouphes trigger, returning it to the battlefield from your graveyard with a -1/-1 counter on it.
- 4Resolve the Pitiless Plunderer trigger, creating a Treasure token.
- 5Activate the Treasure by tapping and sacrificing it, adding
. - 6Activate Quillspike by paying and removing the -1/-1 counter from Aerie Ouphes, giving Quillspike +3/+3 until end of turn.
