What do I need to start this combo?
- All permanents on the battlefield.
- At least one of the two persist creatures does not have a -1/-1 counter on it.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Spawning Pit by sacrificing a persist creature that does not have a -1/-1 counter on it.
- 2When the creature dies, its persist ability and Bhaal trigger.
- 3Resolve the Bhaal trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on the remaining persist creature.
- 4Resolve the sacrificed creature's persist trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
- 5Resolve the Spawning Pit ability from step 1.
- 6Repeat.
