What do I need to start this combo?
- All permanents on the battlefield.
- Thornbite Staff attached to Othelm. Othelm does not have summoning sickness. Workhorse has at least two +1/+1 counters.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Activate Workhose by removing all +1/+1 counters from it, adding at least
. - 2Workhorse dies as a state-based action due to having 0 toughness.
- 3Othelm triggers, untapping itself.
- 4Activate Othelm by paying
and tapping it, returning Workhorse from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped with four +1/+1 counters on it. - 5Activate Workhose by removing all +1/+1 counters from it, adding.
- 6Repeat from step 2.
