What do I need to start this combo?
- Field of the Dead in hand or on the battlefield.
- Kodama of the East Tree and Trench Behemoth on the battlefield.
- You have a land card in hand if Field of the Dead on the battlefield. You control at least six lands with different names.
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Play a land card from your hand.
- 2Kodama, Trench Behemoth and Field of the Dead trigger.
- 3If the land played was a basic land, you may activate it by tapping it, adding at least
. - 4Resolve the Kodama trigger, choosing to put nothing onto the battlefield from your hand.
- 5Resolve the Trench Behemoth trigger, targeting any creature an opponent controls.
- 6Resolve the Field of the Dead trigger, creating a 2/2 Zombie creature token.
- 7The Zombie enters the battlefield, triggering Kodama.
- 8Holding priority, activate Trench Behemoth by returning a land from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Trench Behemoth.
- 9Resolve the Kodama trigger, putting a land onto the battlefield from your hand.
- 10Trench Behemoth and Field of the Dead trigger.
- 11Repeat from step 5.
