    How does this combo work?

      Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Guile.
    • 2
      Guile and Verdant Succession trigger.
    • 3
      Resolve the Guile trigger, shuffling it into your library.
    • 4
      Resolve the Verdant Succession trigger, searching your library for Guile, putting it onto the battlefield and shuffling your library.
    • 5
      Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability from step 1, causing target player to mill cards equal to Guile's power.
    • 6
      Repeat.
