- Lonis and Grinding Station on the battlefield.
- You control at least one Clue token. You have enough mana to cast Quantum Misalignment
Steps
How does this combo work?
- 1Cast Quantum Misalignment by paying its mana cost, creating a token copy of Lonis that isn't legendary.
- 2Activate Grinding Station by tapping it and sacrificing a Clue.
- 3Lonis and the Lonis token's second abilities trigger.
- 4Resolve the nontoken Lonis trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on the token Lonis.
- 5The token Lonis's first ability triggers, creating a Clue artifact token.
- 6When the Clue enters the battlefield, Grinding Station triggers, untapping Grinding Station.
- 7Resolve the token Lonis's trigger from step 2, putting a +1/+1 counter on the nontoken Lonis.
- 8The nontoken Lonis's first ability triggers, creating a Clue artifact token.
- 9When the Clue enters the battlefield, Grinding Station triggers, untapping Grinding Station.
